Audi Umwelt – Hobos

Die Verbindung von Technik und Natur. Eine Aufgabe, die sich die Audi Umweltstiftung mit dem Projekt Hobos vorgenommen hat. Hobos ist ein durch einen Roboter-Arm überwachter Bienenstock, der eine stressfreie Beobachtung eines Bienenstaates ermöglicht. Die Herausforderung des Animationsfilms lag darin, ein futuristisch-abstraktes Design zu finden, das dem Neuheitsgrad des Projektes entspricht. Herausgekommen ist ein Mix aus 3D und 2D Elementen, die zu einer abstrakten Welt verschmelzen und gleichzeitig die wichtigen Inhalte grafisch darstellen.

The combination of technology and nature. A task that the Audi Environmental Foundation has set itself with the Hobos project. Hobos is a beehive monitored by a robotic arm, which enables stress-free observation of a bee colony. The challenge of the animation clip was to find a futuristic-abstract design that would illustrate the novelty of the project. The result is a mix of 3D and 2D elements that merge into an abstract world and  graphically represent the important contents.
